Hytale is built around large, zone-streamed worlds with heavy block simulation and scripted behaviour, which makes server-side CPU clock speed and memory bandwidth the limiting factors rather than raw core count. Our game nodes are picked on that basis: Ryzen 9 7900 through 9950X parts with DDR5 ECC memory and NVMe storage, the same hardware class that runs our busiest Minecraft and Rust servers today.

Because nobody can honestly benchmark an unreleased game, we sell Hytale from the same Premium lineup as everything else and let you move tiers freely at a flat $2.50 per GB of RAM. If your world turns out to need more headroom than you first bought, an upgrade is a prorated billing change rather than a migration.

Hytale has been designed from the start around modding and server-side scripting, so the tooling that matters is file access and fast iteration. The panel gives you a full file manager plus SFTP for bulk uploads, a live console for reading load errors as the server starts, and a task scheduler for restarts and automated jobs.

Automatic daily backups with ten rolling slots mean you can try an aggressive config or a new script set and roll it back if the server misbehaves. Every plan also includes ten port allocations and ten databases, which is enough to run companion services beside the game server itself.

We run 9 game server locations across the United States, Canada, Belgium and Germany. Latency is driven by physical distance, so the right choice is the location nearest the bulk of your players rather than the one nearest you — a community split across a continent is usually best served from Dallas, and a mixed North American and European group from New York City or Brussels.
