SCS ships a dedicated server binary that reads a configuration file for its name, password, driver limit, and session rules. The part people miss is the server packages pair, generated inside the game with the export server packages console command, which records exactly which map and mods the session expects. Upload both files through the FSH file manager, restart from the live console, and your convoy appears in the browser.
A convoy only works when everyone loads the same content. If your export was made with Going East and Iberia enabled, drivers without those maps cannot join, and the same rule covers truck, trailer, and traffic mods. Change the mod list, re-export the packages from your own game, and replace the files on the server. Keeping a dated copy of each export makes rolling back after a mod update straightforward.
The server listens on a connection port and a query port, both visible under the panel network tools, with ten allocations available if you want more than one session on the machine. Set a password for private hauls, list the Steam IDs of drivers you trust to moderate, and decide whether colliding vehicles are shown.
