DayZ Server Hosting
Community DayZ lives in the mission folder. You get full access to types.xml, events.xml and the keys directory on Ryzen 9 hardware that survives a full server.
DayZ keeps a 60-slot map and the whole central economy resident in memory while leaning on core speed for loot cycling, so tiers give DDR5 ECC and up to 5 Ryzen 9 cores.
Mission Folder Ready
The server binary and default mpmissions folder are in place at checkout, so your first task is editing serverDZ.cfg rather than wrestling with SteamCMD.
Instant setup · mpmissions in place
Central Economy Headroom
Loot respawn cycles, animal AI and a full server of survivors need real memory bandwidth, which is why instances run on Ryzen 9 nodes with DDR5 ECC.
Ryzen 9 · DDR5 ECC · NVMe SSD
Mod Key Management
Upload @Mod folders, copy their .bikey files into the keys directory and append each mod to the launch parameters, all from the panel.
File manager · Startup parameters · SFTP
Uninterrupted Survival Runs
DDoS filtering protects every DayZ instance at no additional cost, so the only threat to a loot run is the player behind the tree line.
Included free · Always on
Set Your maxPlayers
Slot counts are your decision in serverDZ.cfg because we never meter players or turn a fuller server into an invoice line.
Unlimited slots · 60 slots and up

ABOUT DAYZ HOSTING
DayZ Community Server Hosting
A community DayZ server is only as good as the access you have to it. Everything that makes a server distinct sits in files: serverDZ.cfg for hostname, slot count, third person and time acceleration, the mission folder for the map, and the db directory for the central economy. Our panel gives you those files directly through a manager and SFTP, with a live console for admin output.
Restarts matter in DayZ more than in most games because the economy and vehicles behave better on a cycle. Use the task scheduler for automatic restarts every few hours, and let the ten rolling daily backups hold your persistence data.
Mission Files And Loot Economy
Chernarus, Livonia and Sakhal each ship as their own mission folder under mpmissions, and switching maps is a matter of pointing the template value at the right one and restarting. Inside that folder, types.xml governs loot nominal values, lifetimes and restock, while events.xml controls vehicle, animal and heli crash spawns. Edit them in the panel, restart, and the central economy rebuilds around your numbers.
Persistence data lives on unmetered NVMe storage, so a server that has been running for months with thousands of stored items and buried stashes never meets a disk quota. Take a manual backup before an economy overhaul, push your edited XML files up, and the console will tell you immediately if a tag is malformed.
Installing Mods And Server Keys
Mod installation on DayZ is a three-part job and you control all of it: upload the @ModName folder to the server root, copy the mod's .bikey file into the keys directory so clients are allowed to connect, then add -mod=@ModName entries to the startup parameters in the panel. Restart from the console and the mod list shows on your server browser entry.

Common questions about running a DayZ server with us.
A vanilla Chernarus or Livonia server with up to 60 slots runs well on 8 GB at $20.00 a month, our most popular tier. Add a large mod list with traders, extra AI or a custom map and 12 GB at $30.00 gives the central economy room. Very heavy modded servers should plan on 16 GB.
Upload the @ModName folder into the server root using SFTP or the panel file manager, copy the included .bikey file into the keys folder, then add the mod to the startup parameters with -mod=@ModName. Restart from the live console. Mods must also be subscribed by players locally, and server and client versions need to match.
Yes. Each map is a mission folder inside mpmissions, so you set the template line in serverDZ.cfg to the matching mission, such as the Livonia or Sakhal offline mission, and restart. Persistence does not carry between maps, so take a backup of the old mission's storage folder before switching if you want to return to it later.
Loot is defined in the central economy XML files inside your mission's db and cfgeconomycore paths. types.xml sets nominal counts, minimum values, lifetimes and restock timers per item, and events.xml handles vehicles, animals and heli crashes. Edit them in the file manager, restart the server, and check the console output for XML errors after any change.
No, and that is a limitation of the game rather than the hosting. DayZ keeps PC and console populations on separate server lists, and console versions do not support community mods. These plans host the PC version, where you have full mod, mission file and central economy control from the panel.
