A Cavern That Never Goes Dark
Core Keeper's peer hosting ties the world to whoever started it, which means nobody progresses unless that person is playing. A dedicated server removes the bottleneck: your tunnels, farms, conveyor networks and boss kills are stored on the server and available whenever any crew member logs in.
It also makes long projects realistic. Somebody can spend an evening running scarlet ore back to base while the rest of the crew sleeps, and the next session starts exactly where the last one stopped, with no host handoff, no rejoining lobbies and no lost progress on the map.
