Avorion Server Hosting

An Avorion server keeps a whole procedural galaxy turning, from alliance shipyards to distant asteroid fields, on Ryzen 9 hardware with unmetered NVMe storage.

Size your Avorion server

6 GB runs a small alliance galaxy, 8 GB with 4 cores is the sweet spot for ten to fifteen pilots, and 16 GB or 24 GB keeps many simultaneously loaded sectors responsive on public servers.

Every plan includes

  • Unlimited player slots
  • Automated setup in minutes
  • Unmetered ports and databases
  • 50 GB NVMe, more on request
  • 10 backup slots per server
  • 5 server splits per plan

  • Unmetered traffic

Every node runs Ryzen 9 7900 to 9950X processors with DDR5 ECC memory.

Built for Avorion

Avorion loads each active sector with its own simulation work and writes galaxy data constantly, so core count, DDR5 ECC capacity and NVMe throughput all earn their place on this game.

Galaxy Generated Quickly

The server is deployed automatically at checkout, so seed selection and the first jump into the outer ring happen the same evening.

Multi-Sector Compute

Up to 5 cores of Ryzen 9 with DDR5 ECC memory carry the parallel sector simulation that busy galaxies depend on.

  • 5 cores at 12 GB
  • Ryzen 9

Choosing An Avorion Galaxy Seed

A galaxy seed defines the layout your server will live with: where the rich rings sit, how faction territory falls and what the early sectors offer. Because that decision is effectively permanent for a long-running server, set it deliberately in the configuration before inviting players, and take a backup once the group is happy with the start. All of that is editable from the panel file manager without a support request.

Server Settings, Mods And Scripts

Avorion exposes a large amount of behavior through server configuration and its Lua scripting layer, from difficulty and block limits to workshop mods placed in the server's mods directory. Upload them through the file manager or SFTP, then read the live console on restart to catch script errors early. The one-click version changer keeps the server matched to the client build, and the task scheduler handles nightly restarts, which helps a galaxy with many loaded sectors stay responsive.

Scaling Sectors And Fleets

Avorion's cost driver is how many sectors are loaded at once, and each active player or independent fleet can wake another one. Solo and small-group galaxies are content on 6 GB, while ten to fifteen pilots spread across the map fit the 8 GB tier with its 4 cores. Public servers with alliances running parallel operations benefit from 16 GB or 24 GB, and RAM stays a flat $2.50 per gigabyte at every step.

Avorion hosting FAQ

Still unsure? Ask our team.

Plan around loaded sectors rather than raw headcount. Small groups run well on 6 GB at $15.00 a month, and 8 GB with 4 cores suits ten to fifteen pilots. Public galaxies where alliances operate in several places at once are better on 16 GB or 24 GB, and upgrades keep your existing galaxy files.
