PRICING
The eight-driver cap keeps this cheap: 2 GB at $5.00 runs a full convoy, and flat $2.50 per gigabyte pricing makes 3 GB at $7.50 the choice for stacked map mods.
Convoy hosting is light on memory and heavy on timing, so ATS runs well on the smallest tiers backed by Ryzen 9 cores, DDR5 ECC memory, and nine location choices.
Instant Convoy Deploy
Checkout provisions the server for you, so the only manual step left is uploading the session files you exported.

ABOUT AMERICAN TRUCK SIMULATOR HOSTING
Hosting a Permanent ATS Convoy
The American Truck Simulator dedicated server is a small, quiet process: it tracks positions, traffic, and session state while each client renders its own Wyoming sunrise. Because it does so little graphical work, it is one of the least demanding things you can host, and 2 GB at $5.00 per month covers the eight-driver cap with room spare. Setup after checkout is automated, so uploading your exported configuration is the only manual step.
Keeping State DLC in Step
Map DLC is the usual reason a driver bounces off the join screen. The export you generate in game records every state pack and mod that was active, and clients are checked against that list. If half the company owns Texas and half does not, either everyone buys in or you export a session without it. Store one export per DLC combination on the server and swap them from the file manager.
Session Rules and Server Files
Nearly everything worth changing lives in a single configuration file you can open in the browser: server name, welcome message, maximum drivers, password, moderator Steam IDs, and whether damage and collisions are enabled. Edit, save, restart from the console, and the lobby reflects it. Automatic daily backups hold ten rolling copies, and SFTP is there when you would rather sync files from your own machine.

Common questions about running a American Truck Simulator server with us.
Eight, and that ceiling comes from the game rather than from us, because FSH does not sell player slots. Given the cap, the 2 GB plan at $5.00 is the honest recommendation for most companies. If you host several groups, the ten port allocations on every plan let a second session live beside the first.
The dedicated server runs on its own, but the configuration and package files defining a session are generated from a PC install. Create them in your game, then upload them here using the file manager or SFTP. After that the server runs unattended, with automated setup after checkout and a 99.9% monthly uptime target under the published SLA.
Both settings live in the server configuration file, which opens in the browser through the panel file manager. Fill in the password field for a private convoy, and list the Steam IDs of the drivers who should be able to moderate. Save the file, restart from the live console, and the lobby reflects the change on the next listing.
Update your own copy of the game, regenerate the exported packages, and upload them in place of the old pair. Drivers without the new map pack cannot join a session that requires it, so plan the switch with your group. Keeping each export archived in the file manager lets you run sessions for whichever combination everyone owns.
Pick the closest of the nine regions at order time: Miami, Dallas, New York City, San Jose, Ashburn, Salt Lake City, Toronto, Brussels, or Frankfurt. Companies spread across the United States usually land on Dallas or Ashburn, while mixed transatlantic crews tend to compromise on New York City or Brussels for a fair split.
